black & white photos, mexican food, max the wonder puppy, coffee, green onions, punk rock, Rob Zombie, horror movies, Edith Piaf, Sephoria, ironic use of the color pink, spellcheck, the smell of freshly cut grass, freshly ironed sheets, cooking, waking up and thinking I have to go to work then realizing it’s Saturday and going back to sleep, Boston, Edith Wharton, people with a basic understanding of etiquette, tattoos, Don Quixote, Pat Green, Gilmore Girls, Beaujolias, The Colbert Report, NPR, indipendentaly owned book/record stores, Empire Cafe, The Chicago Bears, pedicures, high heels, Bono, Austin, shiny things from Tiffany’s, old cemeteries, Niko Niko’s, hummus, putting my cold feet on my warm husband under the covers, tomatos, empty in-trays on my desk, Gaslight, Pinot Noir, Sunset Boulevard (the movie…not the actual boulevard), martinis so dirty that they border on obscene, perfect black pants, really old jeans, Crate & Barrel, a clean house, down blankets, Chicago, being Croatian, smoked gouda, documentaries about serial killers, vintage posters, Paris, The Field Museum, my grandparents.

Things I Hate: 

Peas, Disorganization, my car, Fox News, Jerry Falwell, putting registry information in a wedding invitation, boys who don’t open car doors for you, bell peppers, The Olive Garden, when the lawn service people show up with leaf blowers at 7AM on a Saturday, that Nikki lives so far away, cancer, Kenny Chesney, Chardonnay, people who talk on cellphones while using a public restroom, eggs, the fact that I’m allergic to cheese, having Lupus, those Sally Struthers commericals, people who force their religious beliefs on others, Rush Limbaugh, Celine Dion, tarragon, fennel, Pernod, Miami, anti-choice protesters, sharks, clowns, gin, waking up and going to make coffee only to realize that I forgot to buy coffee, gown women who exclusively speak in baby-talk, german shepherds, the color orange, wait staff who sit down at your table, marshmallows, chipped toenail polish, trucker hats, Hemmingway, laundry, those freaky match.com commericals, Bruce Willis, Gallary Furniture.
